It is important to realize that the students we teach are our hope for the future. When looking forward to that future I see people who are driven and hard working; whom do their best to promote community development. They are self-sufficient and extremely motivated. They strive for the utmost respect and commitment from others, as well as being examples of such. They are individuals, fearless of failure, as failure is a necessity for growth and learning. They are inquisitive, knowing that every situation yields the potential for the gain in knowledge. They are persistent, realizing that as they continue to forge ahead new areas of this world will be available for their discovery and accomplishment.
In an effort of molding my students into the leaders of the future I will encourage my students in all areas of their lives. I will be a supporter of their consistent growth and development. I will provide a classroom with an atmosphere that allows them to be themselves as well as discovering areas of their own interests. I will provide opportunities in which my students can gain knowledge to assist them in becoming an active part of their community. I will always remember that I am teaching individuals, not only subject matter. I will strive for excellence in myself as well as within my students.
